Problem with IF statement

I took over this spreadsheet, but I need help fixing an IF statement. This is a quiz summary sheet. You put the answers in from the quizzes and it scores how the person did. Normally each question has one answer. Questions can be multiple choice, T/F or Y/N. On this particular quiz, question #4 (multiple choice) has 2 possible answers, not one. How can I get the IF statement in column V to recognize that answers in column G can be either B or D.

=IF((COUNTIF($D6:$M6,"")=$M$4),"",IF(G6=LEFT(G5),0,IF(G6=RIGHT(G5),1,0)))
