Problem with Unrelated Objects

Hi all,

I've created a table to register incoming vendor documents. Then I created a data input form from the table, as the form needs to be printed and sent to non-Access users for vendor data evaluation.

All went well 'till I tried to add an extra field with combo box attributes. Somewhere in setting up the combo box, the form moved from the table's area in the Nav Pane to the Unrelated Objects area.

Pleeease, how do I re-relate my form to the table and get it back under the table?

What version of access are you using?

Your wrote:

Your don't print forms (they are for data entry) to print information you should use reports.

If you have to sent data to users who do not have access then you can send them a copy of the report via email from within access.

I'm using 2007.

The forms are formatted to print directly as Adobe PDF documents. The PDF conversion did not cause the unrelated problem.

The form became 'unrelated' to its table while we were adding an extra data field to the form, ie. copy, paste a control and then redefine the source of the data for that control (which is a combo box). The source field (combo box with choices) was already in the table. I did something while redefining the source data when the form became unrelated. Undo didn't fix the problem.
