Problems with calculated text boxes after moving adp from 2003 to 2007

I have an ADP that functions perfectly in Access 2003 but need to get it working with Access 2007. All was going well untill I ran a report with functions in the control source property of text boxes. I get an error "Invalid column name" with the function in single quotes, i.e. 'UCase'.

I can create a new database and do this no worries but even if I create a new report in the ADP project I still get the error. Does anyone know what is going on? I have been seaching for answers all day!

Some stuff moving from 2003 to 2007 (and 2010) works best if you don't just upgrade but create a new ADP in 2007 and then IMPORT everything into it.
