progress meter

this is the code i have for copying a file from 1 dir to another dir, but i cant see it working so i dont know when it has finished and it would look much better with some sort of progress meter or something. please can someone help

Access has a progress meter that you can activate and control via the SysCmd function, but its a bit clunky. I prefer my own solution, embodied in a small form object. The form is intended to be inserted as a subform anywhere you need a progress bar. The bar itself is simply a label control with its BackColor property set to a contrasting color and its Width property dynamically changed via Sub calls. It includes Subs to set/reset the bar length and accompanying text, to hide the bar and text, and to display the bar and text. If you want a copy, please e-mail me off-list.
