Has anyone ever used a RDBMS called Progress? www.progress.com

We are thinking of using it rather than SQL Server but we are not sure yet...if anyone has used it how has it been?

My wife works for the company as a Tech Writer. They are a player in the embedded database market so not many people know the name. It's a global company and has been around for more than 20 years. I've never used the product but if you contact them they can tell you alot more. PC Connection (where I work b2b computer reseller) recently purchased More Direct and they are using a Progress database. We use SQL server 2000 and Oracle 8i and we haven't had any issues transferring data between all 3.
