My background is pre-GUI and pre-Web Progress RDBMS. Think hundreds of corporate users on relational accounting/inventory applications without the internet.

I've done support for Access applications, debugging newly purchased applications. My strength is debugging, not clean slate work.

I'd like to do a personal use application. (10 messages?!?) http colon slash slash roster dot alkhamsa dot org slash pedigrees hindex.html is an example.

The feature of interest is clicking on the horse name and refreshing with that horse at the top of the pedigree. I have the skills to lay out a pedigree frame from any given horse, but the design of the refresh interaction is beyond me.

Record is HorseID, HorseName, DamID, SireID
