Hello everyone,
Im not sure if I am explaining this correctly - but here goes!
I have pasted a table to Excel from Access. No problems there. I then want the Excel users of this spreadsheet to choose a comment in a cell beside each record (row). I am using "validate" to give the users a pre-defined list of answers. All works great.
Now - if a user chooses something specific from the validate list, I want to force them to enter something in the adjoing cell (to the right.) for example, "You chose number one, you must now enter a reason in the adjoinging cell"
Not sure at all how to do this in Excel. First the users choice has to be stored in the cell - then that cell has to be evaluated and user prompted to enter something in an ajoining cell...
Thanks for the help!
