Protecting Access 2007 database

Is there an way of protecting the database??

Been looking for ages.

DB passowrd not secure enough (and pointless), making the file into accde is OK because it prevents editing code (if you are using code), accdr runtime, creating runtime shortcuts, tried all of them.

Hiding ribbons and tools is good but not difficult to enable again.

The best I come up with is runtime accdr but it doessnt take much to figure out renaming the extension or removing runtime switches from the shortcut.

help.... please.
