this query returns no records:

SELECT Universe_v3.Date, Universe_v3.Ticker
FROM Universe_v3
WHERE (((Universe_v3.Date) Between #5/30/2012# And Date()));

Is it possible that the field name of Date is throwing a monkey wrench into the query? If I clear the criteria all records are returned.

FYI, I changed the name of the Date column to Trade_Date and still have no records in the query results.

Don't pull to hard... you don't want to lose all your hair

Does your Date have a time part to it? Also, Date should not be used as a field name because it's a reserved keyword in Access.

Even if Date had a time part, I have data from yesterday going back more than 4 years, I shouldn't worry about times in data should I?

I state above that I tried changing the field name and had no luck.

My hair is nearly gone anyway...

You don't need to change anything, you just have to format the dates accordingly in your query. Have a look at the Format() function:
