Well sel has helped me finish this small database and now im looking to make some cosmetic changes ... is it possible to hide access when the switchboard is displayed ........and also hide the window borders on forms etc ?

Yes, very easily I might add. For the start up, you need to select tools, and options. Then view the option items for start up. One of them is to hide the objects window, as well as select your switchboard to pop up on load.

As for the forms, you have to go into the properties of each of the forms and hide all that you want too. There is a list of things. Just play around with it until you get it looking exactly the way you want it.

You can have at it.

I like to draw up designs, and come up with the flow of the database etc, but once it comes to actually sitting down and moving all those stupid li'l boxes around....*growls* I hate that the most.

Give me coding or give me death!! (that was cheesy wasn't it)

Then since i'm going for a degree in database administration, I'm on the right track then.

it must be that inbuilt thing that the female mind has to be able to drag data up about you that you had fogotten years ago ....there i can symapthise .....but anyone who can work this database thingy out is a clever no doubt about it ..
