I have calculated fields on a form. Can these be saved to the query or table?

I would like to list these calculated fields (from the form) onto a report. Is it possible to do that?

And also is there a way to only show positive values from a calculated field (others would be blank) or change the color to signify their importance?

Generally it's not a good idea to save calculated fields. Simply make the same calculation on the report.

You can use Conditional Formatting to change the color. More info in Help.

I will try those

Thanks for the info. I will try those.

calculated fields with conditional formatting

When I tried the conditional fromatting on the calculated field it did not matter what the value was and it applied the format. For instance I have a difference calculation. It can be negative. zer, or positive value. I would like the positve value to only be viewable or change color. When I apply the conditional format

when field is -- greater than --- 0
to turn bold and red.

However no matter what the value is it is red. Is it because there is a calculation in there?

Did not work.
All values change color. Is it because the calulation is there?

Try Expression rather than Field Is, then recreate the calculation in the expression box, like:

[quantity]*[price]>0
