query criteria

I am building a query and a in my TimeofIssue field i have a criteria like this [Enter Start Date] And [Enter End Date]

but when i run the query, nothing shows up and there is data in the field.

however my format is like this 3/3/2010 9:11:00 AM

but when i search i wanted to just be able to search 3/3/10 and 3/4/10

is there a waay to do this

If your field includes time then you would have to enter time in the criteria as well.

So, you can build a column (in the query) for just the date:

MyNewColNameHereateValue([FieldName])

and then use the criteria on it.

thanks t hat worked for me

when i go to run the report, it pops up start date i will put in 3/12/10 and then and end date i put in 3/15/10 but i get no data at all.

but if i do 3/15/10 for start and end date i get data jsut for the 15th

is there a way to do more days, or what am i doing wrong

Between [Enter Start Date] And [Enter End Date]
