Query field is locked????

I have a query with the field "start time" this field is autofilled with NOW() when a button is clicked and the macro runs.

This has worked for 4 years

all of a sudden the field "Start Time" in the query has decided to become locked or un-updateable. If I open the table the field can be updated but not through the query...

Any suggestions will be greatly appriciated!!
