Query Filtering

I have a query filtering question. Please note attach pic for further details. I am trying to put together a search in a form to seach for a certain color or color series from a Qery from two two different sources (from a Combo Box and from a Text Box). I am not sure how to set this up in the query.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

If I'm reading it right, your criteria should be:

(Like "*" & [Forms]![Search]![Combo54] & "*") Or (Like "*" & [Forms]![Search]![Text65] & "*")

If:
[Forms]![Search]![Combo54] = "T"
[Forms]![Search]![Text65] = "U"

The results would give anything in the ColourNumber field containing either a T or a U.

Thanks Pete,

I think I understand what you are saying here. I'll furhter clearify for you. In the comgo box, I haved a table will all color values. ex: 100, F100, P100, S100, 101, F101, P101, S101, etc, etc......

When I select the color number value that is contain within the Combobox, I can pull certain data that pertains to that color number value.

Now, when I want to do a search by series, such by "F", I can input that value in the textbox and I would be able to pull certian data that pertaind to that series.

I realize this mehtod may be crude, but with my knowledege, I am not aware of other methods and would appreicate others that may be more streamlined.
