Query Not Showing Desired Results - HELP

OK the query has worked but i'm having problems selecting a particular month.

I have created a search form with a combo box that list the FeeID.

However whichever feeID i select it comes up with the same result.

Again - i have 10 records. 5 with values above ZERO for Period 1 and five with nothing entered.

If i run the query on it's own - i get 5 records - so far so good.

However if i select period 1 using my cbo box - i get the 5 - good. But if i select Period 2 - i still get the same five.

Can someone help me on this please?

I have attached a sample db.

If you open frmSearchqry -

For Period 1 of 2008 - i expect to see 8 records (as only one person has paid)
For Period 2 of 2008 - i expect to see 7 records (as only two people have paid)
For Period 3 onwards - i expect to see all the records (as no one has paid)

But it doesn't matter which one i select - i always get the seven records

Open the form frmSearchqry and select the period query will open and show you the results as required by you

This is great. Can i ask what you did?

Added two queries check their sql
In the first query i collected all the student fees which should be paid in the selected period
In the second query showed those students who had not paid using left join
