query parameters

im trying to intake the entire date (mm/dd/yyyy) as a parameter to query upon. the book that i am reading says to use this expression when looking for just the month...

Month([Order Date])=[Month Number]

what should i stick in this expression in place of "Month" to intake the entire date?

If [Order Date] contains also the time, you can use the DateValue() function to extract the date for comparison, that is

DateValue([Order Date])=[Enter a date]
