Query with LEN function

i want to write a query where i ask it to update a table where the text is

like "Ack. Stamp"

And the lenght is less than 15

how do i do this

 

[Brianwarnock]

like "Ack. Stamp"

as there are no wild cards this is the eqivqlent of = "Ack. Stamp"

If you want ithe comparison to start like this and don't care what the next 5 characyers are then use 5 ? ie like "Ack. Stamp?????" this will only look at the 1st 15 characters.
