There is a user in my application who keeps getting a "Automation error" message every time they click a check box in one of my forms. Yet when I try to use it on my system I don't get any messages.

What does 'automation error' mean?

Why would I get the message when clicking on a check box field? I know that in the check box field that it calls a macros called "Uncheck Value" but all the macro does is set value to other check boxes in the form.

I noticed that the user hasn't been receiving this error since an update I made on the form that included the common dialog control. Do I need to add-in something to the executable version?

Oh and this is Access 97 datbase if that helps. Any help would be appreciated.

If I recall, I had automation errors when I did not have my references selected. If you need references to do something in your DB, they may be selected on your machine but not your co-worker's machine.
