Quick question

Hi all,
I am just wondering why Modules have the name of bas at the start of the name. frmForm and rptReport makes sense but why bas for Modules ?

From Basic code. AFAIK there is no restrictions on naming a standard module other than DON'T name it the same as one of the Sub's or Functions inside.

You have run into a naming convention. As a convention (as opposed to a rule or syntax requirement), somebody thought that was a good idea. Myself, I would have used vba or mdl (module) - but then again, there are weeks when I decide that prefixes are for wimps.

Prefixes? We don't need no steenking prefixes.
