Quick restore form question

This is probably very simple and I am wasting time on it so I thought I would ask for a quick fix.

I have a form "Standby" that minimizes when a buton is pressed to open a second form "Filter." This works great. I want the "standby" form to restore to it's original size when I close the "filter" form.

I have tried several options the last being:
under the on close event

Private Sub Form_Close()
Forms!standby.Restore
End Sub

She no worky.

What is the quick solution for this please.

Silly me....

I figured it out. Sometimes the simplest things stump me when I am stressed.

On the on close event of the open form, "filter" i put......

Private Sub Form_Close()

DoCmd.OpenForm "standby", acNormal

End Sub

Just in case someone pulls up the same post someday looking for the answer during their temporary loss of sanity

You may want to also think about using the Function IsOpen to determine if the form is still minimized. I have seen cases where a User actually closes the minimized form and then upon closing The Form that is Normal an error occurs.

Thanks I will add that in. HAve to try to cover all the "ifs" before I send this to the director.
