I'd like to create a quick application for Customer leads management. This will likely be a temporary application. I will import about 500-1000 contact records into it. Every X days, it will email x number of these contacts (only 1 time). It will also create a mailing label for that contact to be printed. It will create a record of this action, then notify me with a summary of contacts acted upon that day, so I can make calls to them or visit in person.
When I'm off site, I want this available to me, so I can add notes for each client as I visit them. Like I said, this is a 1 time app. Out of the initial contact list, people will either drop off, or become customers and entered into our real ERP system and Mailing campaigns.
I don't want to spend a lot of time on this. I could knock out something that works in an Access Desktop app in probably 2 days. What options would I have then for presenting the data on a Ipad or phone offsite?
Another option could be just putting a copy of the current backend on my laptop, and syncing it to the server copy after the site visits? Is there an easy way to do this?
