Unless they in some way knew the eggs were bad and misled him on the condition of the eggs, not at all. Nobody forced him to do it. He chose to do it on his own.

Maybe the eggs had nothing to do with his death.
Maybe it was the dinner he had the night before.
Or a sudden heart attack.

What if I convince someone to take a walk in a rainstorm and they get struck by lightning and die?

What if I make a "gun" out of my thumb, index, and middle fingers and point it at someone, then "pull the trigger" and then (for whatever reason)they fall over dead? Am I a murderer?

What if I convince someone to have surgery and they die on the operating table?

There are lot of unforseen outcomes. In fact, there are an infinity of them. If he did die from eating the raw eggs on a dare or a bet, then he unwittingly raised the average intelligence of the human species and nobody is responsible except himself. There could be extenuating circumstances that WOULD implicate the "friends" though. If they coerced him, or he has stunted mental development, or is a child, then the friends have more culpability - but they are still not murderers.

So no, his friends are not murderers. I don't know what kind of friends they are, though.

What I want to know is how the hell did you know that a man had died in this manner in the first place!!!!
