Re: Autolookup & weird txt expression

Hi fellow developers!

I have spent a whole day trying to figure out how to implement autolookup but without success... I have read numerous threads but I cannot get it to work in my db... I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I have basically 2 tables and 2 forms.

The EnrollerName when selected needs to autopopulate textboxes for TelNo and CellNo. I know this part will be a snap for most of you to figure out.

Now the 2nd problem is lyes in the ACAppsAdults textbox... For some strange reason it's not listed in the Fields List... instead Expr1013 is listed, and I have no idea where that came from. I have attached my db so it'll be easier for you guys to point my mistakes.

Thanks in advance!

Almost forgot the cmdClear when pressed presents me with an error. :(

Re: 2 Down; 1 to go

I was able to solve two... finally! ... by reviewing my form design.

The strange expression was the result of my carelessness... My SQL statement in the Query Builder for The Record Source in the Form's property was missing the ACAppsAdults.... that's the reason I was getting the strange Expr1013 in the Field List. That in turn helped clear up the cmdClear macro.

Now on to tackle the autolookup dilema... please experts help!!
