Read/Write IPTC Metadata Tags in Images

Dear Experts,

Does anybody have a good suggestion for reading/writing IPTC metadata tags in images from VBA?
(Access 2010)

Maybe with the shell command and a little command line tool like
libiptcdata.sourceforge.net/docs/iptc-commandline.html
?

All suggestions are welcome.
