K i built two forms with one of the templates, but ive decided i dont liek the template any more and want to get rid of the header and footer design, but when i right click and press page header and footer to take it off, i does it but the background that came with the template stays at the top of my form.

How do i get rid of the silly background bit!!??

Thankyou :D

You can't delete the header and footer. Just the contents.

You delete those objects just like you do objects in other Office suite programs. Select them (in design mode) and press the delete key.

but the little background thing i cant delete for some reson i cant select it at all :/

Can you post a screenshot (upload it here, don't post to imageshack or photobucket as I can't see those at work)?

Dw guys ive just created to forms again

thanks anyways :)

As George said, You can't delete the Header or Footer. But you can keep them from being displayed.

In Form Design View, you simply goto View - Form Header/Footer and uncheck it. If the Header or Footer contains controls, Access will warn you that setting them to not display will cause these controls to be deleted beyond recovery. Clicking OK will then make them disappear.
