I am very much an Access rookie and I am having a problem that I just can't solve.

I have three reports, each with a total in the report footer.

I would like to place all of the totals on 1 report.

I checked out a posting that had the same problem and the suggestion was to refer to all of the reports while they were all opended. This method work but there has to be a better way!

Then the guy replied......if you change the record source, you will be able to access these values on the same report, no problem.

Well, that's my problem.....I don't know how to use the record source property. HELLLLLLP!

OK, here's the database......

Be gentle.....Keep in mind, I'm a self-taught rookie.

If you look at the bottom of very last page of each report, you will notice a number labeled "Total Value".

I would like to place the "Total Value" of each individual report onto 1 single report. It should look something like this:

Lead Hazard Reduction Inventory

Total Value (Entire Inventory): $29,136.56
Total Value (Consumable Goods): $20,139.91
Total Value (Tools): $3,018.52
Total Value (Equipment): $5,948.13

Again, someone suggested the "RecordSource" function to make this happen. I have no idea how to use this and MS Access Help is no help at all. If you have any ideas, let me know..... I would really appreciate it.

Sorry...the file is too big to send. If you have any idea what I'm talking about, your assistance would be appreciated anyway.

It's Posted Now

OK, so I really didn't understand how to solve the problem, even with all of your help. So I've posted a small portion of the database and hopefully this will help. Tinker with it as much as you want to, just let me know how you did it. Or you can just give me advice. I'll take any assistance at this point.
