Hi All!
So far, everyone her has been super helpful, and I'm starting to learn access a bit better... however, Im stumped again.

Im new, so Ill try to explain as clearly as possible:

My situation: We produce an annual tradeshow with approx 150 exhibitors. Each exhibitor rents a booth (or several)

I have 2 main tables:
One contains the Exhibitor Name, Phone, Address, etc. Primary key is "ExhibitorID"

The second table is a list of "booths" for this years event. This primary key is "BoothID" and there is a column titled "ExhibitorID" linking the 2 together. As a booth gets rented, I update its status in this table. Therefore, some rows dont contain data yet, as they are not yet rented. The only data in that row is the primary key field and another column I added in order to get all 150 booths listed, because booth 150 may be rented, while 130-135 remain empty.

So, I am trying to create/run a report that will show all booth spaces, indicating who has rented each one... the report works great so far, but is skipping any rows which dont contain data. Well, actually, it seems to be skipping the rows that dont contain an "ExhibitorID" field (since that booth isnt rented yet)

I have tried creating a new 3rd table, for emty booths, and just created one entry with a column "ExhibitorID" and an entry #99999, with the name, address, etc fields all just saying "OPEN". I tried to link this table to teh other tables all kinds of ways I could think of... My logic was I could them type in 99999 in the "booths" table to "fill" the blank voids, but that didnt work...

All I want to do is run a report that will show all booths, including teh ones that are not yet rented,m so when we look through report there will be "gaps" in the unsecured booth locations... Is that possible?

I hope what I wrote is understandable... I am very new at access and may not be explaining this correctly...

Thanks for any help!!!

Just off the cuff - you will need to use a left-join from the booth's to the exhibitors so it will show all of the booth's ... regardless if they have an exhibitor or not.

Thanks, I have tried to check that, and unless I am doing something wrong, its not working....

I can get the arrows to show, meaning the tables are linked left and right, and I have tried both ways... no luck...

I cant seem to get the "empty" booths to show up...

Strange ... any possibility of posting the db after stripping sensitive information out?
