I am attempting to run a query with fields from 6 tables. These tables have been related, but just a simple ID to ID throughout all of the tables. When I select the fields I would like to be in query using the disign wizard it will allow me to create the query, however it will not display and data.

Originally, the query wizard would not allow me to insert all of the different tables fields in the query because "they were not related", so I went back and did the ID to ID relationships. Like I said this now allows me to create the query, but unfortunately no data appears.

Anyone have any suggestions please??

A few questions...

Do the fields have data in them?

Did you include the fields that have the data you want in the query? or just the IDs?

What kind of query are you using?

I don't know if I would trust what Colin says. He's a pretty shady character. :D

Yes, the fields do contain data. I almost think there is something wrong with my relationships. Do you think this is possible, and if it is any idea how to correct this problem?

I am using a basic query...just opened the wizard and started selecting all of the fields I would like to be in the query.

Hope that answers the questions....

I'll trust anyone at this stage of the game....I'm desperate. : )

Desperation is the mother of all *********. (I love that line)

I think Colin has you covered Knw. Hey, by the way Colin, answer me this....

how do you know if you're reading a great question?

we would need to see the query sql and possibly a relationship diagram to give you more guidance

Simple. The thread was started by me.
:D

KNW,

Rainman is right... since you know all the data is in the tables, there must be something in your SQL or relationships that is not allowing the query to perform how you want it.
