KHi,

Is it possible to get the number of records selected on the record selection bar using VBA?

TIA

Are you referring to the Record X of Y info? If so, try this in your forms OnCurrent event...
Code:
Private Sub Form_Current()

    If Me.NewRecord Then
        Me.Form.Caption = "Your Form Name - New Record (" & Me.RecordsetClone.RecordCount & " existing records)"
    Else
        Me.Form.Caption = "Your Form Name - Record " & [CurrentRecord] & " of " & Me.RecordsetClone.RecordCount
    End If

End Sub

Thanks for your reply ghudson

Not quite what I'm after.....i think. I'd like to prevent deletions of multiple records in a continous form. So if the user clicks and hold the mouse button, drags along the record selection bar, multiple records are selected. I would like, using VBA, to be able to see how many records that are selected.

Hope I make myself a bit clearer

TIA

Hi Rich

Thanks very much for your reply Rich. You got me on the right track. The method I was after was the SelHeight. This gives me the number of records selected. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
