Recover a lost table?

I lost a table in my MS-Access. Is there anyway to undelete the table once the database was closed? I appreciate any help you may have.

Here's more information:
1. I'm using Access 2000.
2. I've searched the web and this forum, hoping to find a solution. It seems that when the database is closed, it's too late to recover the data.

If there is a magic solution, don't hesitate to share it (heck, I'm an optimist).

Yes, I do back-ups. That's not the point.
