Refresh one form from another

is there a way that I can refresh one form by pressing a button on another?

Yes. create the button where you want it, and in the on click event, place a code such as:

forms!frmName.refresh

or is it requery? i'm pretty new to this too, but i figured this may help you.

i think that's the right syntax. check in the FAQ on form/subform references. it's really useful for figuring out how to refer to things.

Yup that worked, I had things round the wrong way
