Refresh pivot table

I created a pivot table by using the form wizard.

I cannot figure out how to get the form to refresh every time I open it.

When I click the edit pivot table button, I then go into excel but I still cannot get it to refresh on open. I have checked the refresh on open check box in Excel, but it is not working.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I had the same problem and just found out that by activating the "Refresh Every 60 minutes" option as well as the "refresh on open" option that the Pivot table automatically refeshes when opened. Here are my settings..

My data source options are as follows:

Unchecked - Save data with table layout.
checked - Enable drilldown
checked - Refresh on open
checked - Refresh every 60 minutes.

If i don't have the refresh every option activitated, the refresh doesn't work on open, even if I have activitated the "Refresh on open" option. I haven't tried to set referesh every to more than 60 minutes, but don't think this should have an affect.

Does anybody understand why this combination is necessary for the "Refresh on open" option to work. Did I miss something, because it doesn't seem to be logical?

How do you get to the option of setting the refresh on the Pivot Table?
