Relinking frontend from a master control database

To deploy identical frontend db's for 9 departments, all with their own backend, I have code in my pre-deployable frontend to relink the tables automatically. But I have to do this action (opening the front end, confirm and close it) 9 times. I was wondering: could I run this relinking code from an external control database fully automatically to avoid the aforementioned actions?

If you put ALL the back ends into the exact same folders...say..
C:\DB\myDb.mdb

Then when you link the BE to your FE, it will work for ALL users.

Thanks, but that is not an option. All departments work on the same (physical) drive.
