Hi!
I migrated an A2010 accdb (the BE with tbls) into a SQL-Server 2008r2 DB, added timestamp-fields, indexes, etc.
The Access-FE remained mostly unchanged.
The main-form (frmEmployees) receives its data from a view form the server.
This main-form contains 6 subforms with a parent/child relation on the PK of the forms recordsource to the FK of the recordsource of the subforms.
Currently 2 Users are working on the project. When one user enters new data, the other one does not see the new record as long as he does not close and reopen the form. Every user just sees the new records of "his" form, but not the other added records.
I entered a Me.Requery in the Form_Current event but this abends Access.
How does Access "reload" new data into this form from an SQL-view??
Thanks your replies.
Michael
