replace entry in table

Hello,

I am in the process of researching an access project, I am going to create and entry form which the user uses for all the inputs. When clicking the button at the bottom of the form access needs to search for entries matching all of the fields. If it finds and entry which matches all except 1 field it needs to replace that entry with the information that the user has put in the form.

Any suggestions on how to do this would be welcome.
