Hi

Due to all sorts of reasons I have a system with an access97 backend, with Access97 and Access2000 front ends.

This is due to old pc's, but I need the 2000 front end as I need to use some functionality for the master user that is not on 97.

This user would like to work at home, so I need to replicate.

I replicated the backend, and everything was fine for the 97 front end, but when I tried to use the 2000 frionmt end I found that the replication fields were in the first colums of the table (in most caese), and that the same number of fields as before were being linked, ie I lost the fields from the ends of my tables. This obviously means I was very short of data!!

Is there a trick to doing this, or is it just impossible.

Thanks in anticipation

I have also posted this on the general forum, but had no answers, so I have reposted it here as it is tables I am having trouble with.

I have put a note on the general forum post to ask for replys here as I dont want to annoy people with multiple posts on the same topic, but I would like an answer if possible

Thanks Nouba

That seems to be the answer, I can't do it!
