I hate replication.... Help plz

Dear All,

I searched through the threads in the forum, but couldn't find a suitable answer to my question. Here is the situation:

We have a database which is splitted into front End and Back end parts. This database is recording the customer information. There are more than 10 users which are receiving calls and entering data to it. All the users (Front Ends) and the back end is on the same LAN (Network).

Now, We need to have the same database in another city and an operator to record the customer data from that city. All these data should be in the same database. What we have thought to implement is, to install a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and connect the Front End of that city to the back end which is residing in here. And this will diffinilty solve our problems.

Since we need to record online, if the internet goes down by any means (which is likely in the place where i live, I live in Afghanistan), we thought to have a local database (Front end and Back end) too and record the details locally till the net is live back.

The problem now arrise, how to append all those records from that city to our main database. I assumed to use replication, but later I found out that, since that city will not have all the data, if i replicate it with our main database, it will erase all records which are here and will only append the new records from that city.

and if i do replication from our city to that one, it is the same. since it is really a big database having more than 10000 records with a lot of fields and also confidentail data, we don't want that city to have all the data.

I donno wat to do, anybody help plz?????
