Report background image

I would like to use as report "background image" one PDF file.
The access allows only JPG files as background.

you want a PDF to be the report background image?
Is the PDF a photo or an actual report?
if a report, then this is a bad idea. The clarity will be lost.
just open the pdf as a pdf.
