I need to show some items on a report but for the life of me can't figure it out.
I have a master database of all employee's, basic information, addy, phone.. etc and i can pull reports from the queary's. one report i am having trouble figuring out is a detailed list of where and when someone went on travel. basically trying to "see" how many time's a person has gone someplace (or not)
i was thinking i would put a drop down in a form with the places we travel to, and then have another drop down so that i could put in the dates they they were there. eveytime they went someplace just click the drop down's and then run a report it would show that Fred went to "A" all these different dates and "B" all these dates, etc. I could even sort it so that for "A" fred, willma and barney went.
However----
when i do that, of course, the data that was there before just gets typed over, so to speak so the report only show's the most recent, not a "history". some guidance on how to keep a "history" is what i am requesting.
I hope I formated this question correctly.
thanks for the help
Jake
