Oh nuts.

I basically want to do a report in the form of a letter for each record, showing all it's subform bits.

So it will be....

Letter Title + logos
Dear ___
Text and info (just using the text boxes from query selecting current record - will be a button on form)
Subform 1 categories (linked with ContactID to ContactID - has to list them)
Some more text...
Subform 2 categories (has to list them)
Some more text...
Subform 3 categories (Has to list them)
Some more text and then the page footer.

And I can't do it *cry cry cry* Help please.

What bit exactly are you stuck on?

Well basically, all of it.

I got the first bit of data in there. Fine.

But the relationships are so I have say the main table (Contact ID, Field1, Field2... Field22).

And then three other tables. All have something like "Contact ID [linked], Category/Age Ranges/Literature Available"

It's a one to many relationship, so one Contact ID may have many Age Ranges, many categories, and many literatures available (with a date, and other info about it)

So in the report, I want to display the Contact ID, Field1 and Field2, then I want it to say something like:

"You are under these categories:
[list all categories]

You are under these age ranges:
[list all the age ranges]

And you have these literatures available:
[List all lit avail - w/ date, cost etc all part of the table]"

The best I can do, is get it to list the age ranges, categories and literatures, but they are all grouped, so if I had 2 categories and 2 age ranges, it would display each and every combination of that.

So you can see the dilemma. So make it worse, after the "You are under these...." bits, I need to go back and add in more stuff like "Field 10, Field 11" of the original table. Then the page footer, and report footers.

I am pretty dense with all this, so detailed help would me most appreciated.

I've solved it just in case anyone's interested :p

I used a subreport of the table in the report for each of the categories. Yay for me. :)
