We have a capital budget database that we have used for many years. It is in ACCESS 2003. Our organization is being upgraded to Office 2007, but we are keeping the databases in 2003.

There is a report that needs to be landscape in order for all the columns to fit on the page. When the user runs the report it is created portrait. When I run it, it comes out landscape. I had a co-worker run it, and it appeared landscape.

Why would the orientation change for this one user? We are running of the network, so we are are all running the same copy of the database.

I think this has something to do with Track Name Autocorrect Info and/or Perform Name Autocorrect features found under Tools>Options>General as this is an error that drove me nuts a few years back and so I unchecked both these features.

Whilst I think that will solve your immediate problem, the downside is that you will possibly lose some good features that these options should give you such as if you change the name of a table then any dependant query or form automatically picks up on the change (or at least that's what I think these features should control).

Perhaps someone else can provide better clarity on the upsides and downsides of what I am suggesting?
