Hello all,

I have a report that is opened by a button on a form. The data in the report is determined by a variable that is passed from the form to the report. When opening the report without the DB being split there is no problem, but after splitting the database it gives an error, but only if the report is longer than one page.

The error reads, "The record source '~sq_drptPhaseOneLeadSheet~sq_dTested By' specified on this form or report does not exist. You misspelled the name, or it was deleted or renamed in the current database, or it exists in a different database. In the Form or Report's Design View, display the property sheet byu clicking the Properties button, and then set the RecordSource property to an existing table or query."

I'm sure why I'm getting the message. Everything seems to be pointed at the right place, and the data actually shows up in the report. It seems to be more of a nuisance than anything else at this point.

Thanks for any help.

the ~ tends to reference a deleted object --- sometimes queries seem to exhibit a sort of persistence, that wont clear itslef - if they were copied from another object, or if a source table is renamed ---- you could try compact and repair, but sometimes the only way is to recreate the object.

Hummm...isn't that just super. Tried repair and compact...no dice. Guess I'll have to recreate...oh the joy...
