Hi all
I have a problem with the way the data on my report is printed. My report has one text field in the detail section, and can vary in size for different clients, and a large report footer (44.5cm) that contains a sizeable amount of text.

Depending on the amount of data in the detail section, the first page of the report will sometimes cut the last line of type in half and then print the other half at the top of the next page. This line of type is text from the report footer.

I have the Keep Together property set to no.

Thanks in advance

Welcome.

Try reducing the size of the field on the detail part of the report and set the CAN GROW attribute to YES.
This will then grow and shrink with the Text.

Also, try setting the Keep Together to Yes.

Thank you for your reply.

I have a very small detail section anyway and yes it is set to Keep Together and also the Can Grow set to yes.

Is it possible to set some kind of conditional pagebreak in the Report footer? (not that I know how).

I have attached the database so it will be easier to understand. The client proposal report has a Client ID parameter. There are only 3 clients; Client ID 3, 4, 5. If you look at Client ID 5, you will see what's happening.

thank you
