Report Problem

This is a new one to me, hopefully some brilliant person here can help me solve it. I have a query that pulls records from two tables and a related query based on user entered criteria. The results will pull just fine into a query view (datasheet).

However, when I try to view these same results in a report, I get a message saying "the expression is typed incorrectly, or is too complex to be evaluated."

Some details: I am grouping the report by employee [EmpNo] and attempting to display the daily records for each employee in the detail section.

Any thoughts? Appreciate any assistance you can provide as I've been plugging away at this for two days now :banghead:

usu, if the query runs, the report runs too.
sometimes, its a result of a virtual calculated field. Title: forms!frmRpt!txtBox
be sure to set this as Expression, rather than group By.
