I'm using Access 2007 and have developed a database where most of the tables are linked.

The performance is very slow for the main report I generate in this database. I think I need to create indexes. How do I do this?

Or, if anyone has any other suggestions that will help the performance I am 'all ears'?

Access tables are already indexed. A query can be sorted on a field on a sequentially ordered field can be created and sorted.

Let's understand the root cause first.

How many subreports do you have embedded in this main report?
How many records does each report pull?
