Report Sorting

Sorry, the key to looking up information to solve my own problem seems to be my lack of understanding what the problem is.
I have created a report from Table information. When I open the report it brings up the estimator, the project name, the estimate amount and estimate date. It works, however there is to much information. I need to Limit the report by searching for a specific estimator, and a date range, 1/1/04 to 1/31/04. I currently have no clue. I am not sure what to even call this other than a sort. Would this be a report querry? Where do I need to go to create the perameters. Thanks in advance for your help.

Your problem started when you created the Report from a full Table.
Try creating a query from the Table with the information, then you can set the query up with Criteria. Such as in a Date Field Criteria

Between [StartDate] And [End Date]

These then will be the same Criteria in the Report you generate form the Query.
Also you can check and manipulate the data much easier in a query than in a Table.
Unless you are a master of SQL.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. This is exactly what I was looking for. Now that I am getting the correct info, I think I should be able to create the report from the results. Thanks
