report subtotals

I have a report with totals on each page by location, then grand totals of the report. Everything is working fine except for one subtotal! grrrr Can anyone sort this out?

I have SS, Med B, Med D, other pension and Supplement.

=sum([ssmt]) =sum([Med B Prem]) etc. (these are working, totaling each amount down the page by location.

Then I need to have a subtotal of SS, MED B, and MED D
=[sum of ssamt]+[sum of Med B]+[sum of Med D] for Total of Social Security
and a subtotal of 'other and supplement'
=[sum of suppl]+[sum of other pension]

so far so good. However, when I try to put them together for the total of the check dispursed to that location I get a blank

[total of social security]+[total of supplment and other]

At the end of the report, I have grand totals for all of these and those are working fine too! Just caught up somewhere here. I'd appreciate your insight!

Any nulls in your data?

wrap an NZ(data,0) around all of your components.
