Hi, im not excellent with access, but for my A2 ICT project i am required to make a database for a gym, i was wondering if it is possible to multiply the number of entries in my report by a specific number. i will give an example as this is hard to explain. the report is based on a query, the query shows how many members have signed into the gym in the past seven days. but in my report i want to be able to multiply the number of members that have signed in by 50, as it costs each member 50p to sign in to the gym. as a result this will show how much money should have been taken for that week. so if only 18 members signed in, in one week, then i would need the formula to be able to multiply the 18 entries by 50 to give me 900 or £9.00.

thanks in advance

In your query, create a new calculated field in the first blank box on the right. Example:

SigninPaid: Sum(([Signins]*50) *.01)

We will assume the field [Signins] is the number of people who have signed in.

In your report, enter the field SigninPaid where desired.
