Report View Fields from Value List

I hope this is an easy one...

I have a table in which several fields are populated from a list box (values provided in a list or table).

When I preview/print a report with these fields, the fields have a solid box over the field instead of displaying the value selected. See attached.

Any thoughts?

I found a solution. I adjusted a few properties. Thanks for reviewing.
