Does any one know of a graphing software that can be added on to Microsoft Access? I need more extensive graphing capabilities for my reports. I am running multiple reports, so it is too lengthy to export to Excel.
Access already has MSChart. With a Form or Report in design view, Chart is on the Insert menu list. This works almost identically to Excel Chart, but doesn't have all the same functionality.
MSChart is probably THE worst graphing engine and I don't know why Microsoft can't improve its capabilities or produce a separate application that can link with Excel or Access. I think Jodi_MHS wants an alternative because MSChart is so poor. I have produced loads of reports with 3D charts but they are so inflexible. I would like to be able to do a 2D scatter chart with magnitude of the "z" variable indicated by a colour code but MSChart cannot do it.
